Hoagie sale was a HUGE Success!!

Posted on Apr 12 2011 - 1:50pm

Thanks to everyone who lent a hand, the sale went off without a hitch - and the hoagies were the best they've ever been!!

By 10:30 the 400 hoagies were made, wrapped, packaged and ready to go.  The Scouts works the assembly line with precision, and the state of the art system that Troop 219 has been using for years proved unbeatable once again!

Arena Football is Back!  If you haven't seen a game yet, you can't imagine what you are missing - speed, hits and loads of scoring.

To make sure you get to at least one game this year, this is a great opportunity -  a Scout Night being hosted by the Philadelphia Soul.  Join Scouts from all over the Delaware Valley and cheer on the Soul!

Winter Camping was a Great Success!

Scouts enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the Guyers.  Many thanks for letting the Scouts sleep, eat and live on the frozen tundra for a couple of days!

New Eagle Scout!

Posted on Feb 27 2011 - 12:43pm

Congratulations to Dan Robinson for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout!

On Thursday evening Dan went before the Eagle Board of Review, the culmination of years of dedication.  After a thorough review by the Board, Dan and his proud father walked in to the end of our weekly meeting to recieve cheers and congratulations from the other Scouts and leaders.  Dan showed us how hard work and the help of others can really pay off.
